Warwick Equine Clinic offers ambulatory and in-patient services for horses in Orange, Rocklland and Westchester counties in New York and Bergen, Passaic and Sussex counties in New Jersey. The practice also services parts of northeastern Pennsylvania. We provide 24 hour coverage for equine emergencies. We also provide specialized examinations for horses stabled at Belmont and Aqueduct racetracks, including evaluation of poor performance issues, dynamic endoscopy and computer assisted lameness evaluations.

Our primary areas of focus are: evaluation of poor performance and lameness diagnostics and treatment. We also provide basic equine health care services such as vaccinations, dental procedures and general medicine. The clinic can handle most routine surgical procedures including internal fixation of fractures. More complex procedures are routinely referred to Cornell University or other surgery centres.

The majority of our clients compete performance horses: racing, eventing, show jumpers, hunters, dressage, reining and endurance; but we also examine and treat a high percentage of pleasure horses and pet horses. Currently, we do not handle reproductive medicine, but we do provide emergency care and neonatal services for foals including dystocias (difficulty in foaling).
